RACE INFORMATION PACK
Qatar Sports For All Federation, in partnership with Z Adventures, proudly presents the QRS Fall Edition 2024. This exciting four-race series takes place at the iconic venues of four FIFA World Cup stadiums, with race distances ranging from 800 meters to 10 kilometers. Each race will be held on precisely measured short courses, with participation limited to 300 runners per event.
In addition, the Junior races will feature a school competition, where the top school or club in both the male and female categories will be awarded trophies. Equal points will be given to the top 5 finishers in all junior categories.
START TIMES
The first race on Friday 18 October will be an afternoon race starting at 3:00 PM. All other races will be in the morning.

WHAT'S INCLUDED
INDIVIDUAL SERIES POINTS SYSTEM
The four-race series will feature a points system that contributes to the overall series awards. Points are assigned based on an athlete’s finish position within their category.
Given that our adult races offer various distances (10K, 5K, and 3K), points will be equally distributed across each distance. The category winner will earn 50 points, with 2nd place receiving 49 points, 3rd place earning 48 points, and so on. The minimum points awarded for completing a race is 20. In the event of a tie, the athlete who has covered the greater overall distance during the series will be ranked higher. If athletes are tied in both points and distance, the one with the lowest cumulative race time will take the higher position. Should athletes remain tied after considering points, distance, and time, they will be placed jointly in the standings.
For example, if Athlete A wins all four 10K races, earning 200 points, and Athlete B wins all four 5K races, also earning 200 points, Athlete A will rank higher than Athlete B in the overall standings due to the longer distance covered.
SERIES AWARDS:
Male and female series winners will receive prizes which will be presented after the end-of-season race.

- 5K Adults: 7:00 AM.
- 3K Adults: 7:05 AM.

- 800M Mini-Kids: 8:15 AM.

PARTICIPANT WAIVER:
By registering for the event below, I confirm the following:
I know that running long-distance events is a potentially hazardous activity, which could cause injury or death. I will not enter and participate unless I am medically able and properly trained, and I certify that I am medically able to perform this event, and am in good health, and I am properly trained. I agree to abide by any decision of a race official relative to any aspect of my participation in this event, including the right of any official to deny or suspend my participation for any reason whatsoever. I attest that I have read the rules of the race and agree to abide by them. I assume all risks associated with running in these events, including but no limited to: falls, contact with other participants, the effects of the weather, including high heat and/or humidity, open traffic and the conditions of the road, all such risks being known and appreciated by me. I understand that bicycles, skateboards, baby joggers, roller skates or roller blades, animals, and personal music players are not allowed in the race and I will abide by all race rules. Having read this waiver and knowing these facts and inconsideration of your accepting my entry, I, for myself and anyone entitled to act on my behalf, waive and release the Qatar Running Series organizers and the city where the events are held, from all claims or liabilities of any kind arising out of my participation in this event, even though that liability may arise out of negligence or carelessness on the part of the persons named in this waiver. I grant permission to all of the foregoing to use my photographs, motion pictures, recordings or any other record of this event for any legitimate purpose.

- ALL REGISTRATIONS ARE FINAL.
- IN CASE OF A LOCKDOWN (EITHER DUE TO COVID-19 OR ANY OTHER REASON), RACES WILL BE POSTPONED TILL WE RECEIVE THE GREEN SIGNAL FROM AUTHORITIES TO RESUME EVENTS.
- THERE ARE NO REFUNDS UNDER ANY CIRCUMSTANCES.
