BALTIC CHALLENGE

Join us for the inaugural Baltic Challenge, an exciting series of long-distance races that span three stunning Baltic countries in one week.

This unique challenge is professionally managed by local organizers in each country and has been designed to satisfy the rules of Marathon Globetrotters and Marathon Country Club.

The races will take place in Lithuania, Latvia & Estonia. The Baltic Challenge is open to all, catering to both runners and walkers with race options ranging from 5K and 10K to half marathons and full marathons. These are not just a series of races, but a journey that offers participants the opportunity to explore the breathtaking architecture, connect with fellow adventure enthusiasts, and immerse themselves in the vibrant local culture.

DAY 1 – Saturday 7 June 2025 - Vilnius, Lithuania

Arrive at the hotel.
Tour briefing at 6:00 PM

DAY 2 – Sunday 8 June 2025 – RACE 1 - LITHUANIA

6:00 AM - Breakfast at the hotel
7:15 AM - Bus departs to take runners to the race location.
8:00 AM - Race start.
4:00 PM - Bus leaves for the hotel.
6:30 PM - Dinner

DAY 3 – Monday 9 June 2025 – Vilnius City Tour & Flight to Riga

7:00 AM - Breakfast at the hotel and check-out.
8:00 AM - Vilnius City Tour: Vilnius Cathedral, Gediminas Castle Tower, St. Anne's Church, Palace of the Grand Dukes of Lithuania, KGB Museum, etc.
1:00 PM - Packed lunch and arrival at the airport.
3:10 PM - Flight (Air Baltic) to Riga. Cost: EUR 30-40 approx.
4:30 PM - Arrive in Riga and drive to the hotel.
7:00 PM - Dinner

DAY 4 – Tuesday 10 June 2025 – RACE 2 - LATVIA

7:00 AM - Breakfast at the hotel

2:30 PM - Bus departs to take runners to the race location.
3:00 PM - Race start. (Evening marathon).
10:00 PM - Bus leaves for the hotel.
10:00 PM - Dinner boxes delivered to the hotel.

DAY 5 – Wednesday 11 January 2025 – Riga City Tour & Flight to Tallinn

7:00 AM - Breakfast at the hotel and check-out.
8:00 AM - Riga City Tour: Town Hall Square, Riga Old Town, Alberta Iela, etc.
1:00 PM - Packed lunch and arrival at the airport.
3:25 PM - Flight (Air Baltic) to Tallinn. Cost: EUR 30-40 approx.
4:15 PM - Arrive in Tallinn and drive to the hotel.
7:30 PM - Dinner
INCL: Breakfast, Lunch & Dinner.

DAY 6 – Thursday 12 June 2025 – RACE 3 - ESTONIA & City Tour

6:00 AM - Breakfast at the hotel
7:00 AM - Bus departs to take runners to the race location.
7:30 AM - Race start.
3:00 PM - Bus leaves for the hotel.
4:30 PM - Tour of Tallinn - Town Hall Square, Patkuli Vaateplatvorm, St. Catherine's Passage, Gates, etc.
7:30 PM - Dinner & Awards

DAY 7 – Friday 13 June 2025 – Flights back home

6:00 AM - Breakfast at the hotel
11:00 AM - Check out from the hotel and transfer to the airport.

EXCLUSIONS

What’s not included:

International airfare to / from the Baltic.
Transfer at the start of the tour from airport to host hotel.
Transfer at the end of the tour from host hotel to the airport.
Internal flights from Vilnius to Riga and Riga to Tallinn.
Alcoholic beverages.
Hotel room telephone, mini bar and hotel food and drinks between meals.
Personal items purchased.

Trip Essentials:

All runners are required to wear a GPS watch as a backup for timing and distance monitoring.
There will be no dedicated medical support on the course. Runners will take part at their own risk and are required to have trip cancellation and medical insurance.
